Are you a closet cream hoarder?
If we had a dollar for the amount of times we have heard our customers say “I have tried just about everything…” only to then rattle off the name of just about every psoriasis cream on the planet, and we are sure you know how that story goes.
So why is it the case that so many of us are in the same situation – 100’s of creams, no results?
This is a major bug bear of ours and we’d like to share our thoughts on what really makes an effective natural psoriasis cream so you can find some extra space in that cupboard and fine tune your skin care routine.
Firstly, creams that say they are for eczema AND psoriasis are unlikely to provide equal results for both. The reason being eczema is a highly sensitive condition requiring gentle treatment. Too many ingredients in an eczema cream can be a real trouble causer. Psoriasis on the other hand is a different kettle of fish. It can be quite stubborn at times and causes dry, thickened skin which can make it harder for a cream to absorb and work its wonders. To put it simply, eczema and psoriasis are two very different conditions and should be treated as such!
Secondly, a basic moisturising cream will do just that – moisturise. That is, it will help to hydrate the skin so it is less dry but that’s about it. It may soothe the skin, but not help to resolve the lesion due to a lack of active ingredients.
For an effective natural psoriasis cream to truly be helpful with psoriasis, we believe it needs the following features:
– Provide key nutrients for barrier repair
– help to break up and remove dead skin cells for better absorption
– contain loads of antioxidants
– pack a punch with herbal bioactive concentration
The Soratinex Emollient was specifically designed for psoriasis prone skin and has all of the above feature plus a great deal more. The Skin Conditioner Oil can be used in addition to the Emollient as an everyday moisturising agent to help maintain skin hydration throughout the day. We have your skin routine covered!
